Details
Our Punjabi Hindu wedding ceremony will celebrate meaningful traditions shared across generations. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:

Pagdi Ceremony
The groom’s turban is tied in a ritual symbolizing honor and family tradition.

Baraat
A boisterous wedding procession with music, dancing, and drumming as the groom’s side makes their way to the ceremony.

At the venue, the bride’s family welcomes the groom’s side with meaningful rituals, including Milni (exchange of garlands between families), Arti & Tilak (a ceremonial welcome), and Varmala (exchanging of garlands between the bride and groom).

The Wedding Ceremony

Beneath a mandap, we’ll take part in sacred rituals including:
Kanyadaan– the bride’s parents give her away
Mangal Pheras– seven symbolic circles around the sacred fire
Sindoor & Mangalsutra– traditional symbols of marriage
Saptapadi– seven shared vows for our future together

Dinner Reception
Please join us after the ceremony for dinner, dancing, and celebration!
